My wife and I made the four and a half hour trip to hear him play and I cannot describe how perfect the evening was. While David performed a number of songs from past albums the focus was on Right of Passage and what a title for such passionately written songs. Those in attendance were wooed by one of Canada's foremost singer/songwriters. Not since Stan Rogers have I heard anyone write the stories we wish we all could about the average and not so average all across Canada, the US and the globe. After purchasing all of David's albums I have to say that this recent project has to be one of the best. If you haven't picked it up yet I urge you to do it soon. Good CD's are hard to find here in France so I downloaded "Right of Passage" through eMusic, like I did with the 6 other albums by David.
