David invited to join the 2012 JUNO Songwriter’s Circle

JUNO Songwriting Circle – Sunday, April 1, 2012

David will be part of this year’s JUNO Songwriter’s Circle at Centrepointe Theatre in Ottawa. Participating Artists: Host Dan Mangan will be joined on stage by fellow 2012 JUNO Award nominees David Francey, Lindi Ortega, Max Kerman (Arkells) and Terri Clark. More artists to be announced!

Francey to play in the 2012 JUNO Cup

JUNO Cup – Friday, March 30, 2012 – 7:30pm

David makes a save

Once again David will share the ice with NHL greats and great Canadian musicians when they face off for the JUNO Cup at the Steve Yzerman Arena, Nepean Sportsplex David will play goal for the NHL team (which will include Claude Lemieux and Russ Courtnall to name a few!

Burning Bright is nominated for a JUNO

Tony Girardin’s documentary about David Francey, Burning Bright, is nominated for the 2012 JUNO Award for Music DVD of the Year! Tony’s film will be shown as part of The JUNOS at TIFF: Celebrating Canadian Music on Film, a showcase of the creative connections between music and film. We are looking forward to sharing a table with Tony at the awards gala. Well done Tony!
